House-sitting is a cinch when the house looks like this!

Ryan and I house- and dog-sat for our friends this past week and I could not get over the beauty of this place. The land, the classic exterior look, and the greenery! The dogs are also too cute for words!

Ryan actually jumped in the pool even though it's been getting down into the low 40s at night. Yes, he's nutso.

We weren't quite ready to say sayonara when the owners got home. ;)

Cabin Fever

Being over in Washington on Lake Chelan all week, surrounded by natural beauty, has really affected me. I just want to take a hike, limit human noise pollution, and breathe in deep the fresh clean air. So when I came across this gorgeous Montana cabin on Fast Company I felt compelled to capture these images here, try to let that feeling of solitude and wonder last a bit longer even though I'm back in Nashville. I also love so many of their choices in terms of furnishings and accessories. Rustic and industrial chic minimalism at its best. Enjoy...
